Meet The Team

Matt Yovich

Coach/Board Member

Matt has been in and around competitive swimming for most of his life. He became a swim official at age 19 and officiated high school, college and age group club meets for many years. He has also been a proud swim parent, a board member/officer, a nationally certified official and a coach.

Matt believes swimming is a lifetime activity and desires for all to learn swimming as a survival skill. He cares passionately about water safety, competitive swimming, Special Olympics, building community, teaching and coaching. He is excited to help people attain their goals. He is an engineer at heart and applies those skills to everything he does.

Michelle Varda

Founding Board Member

Michelle's passion for nature is keenly illustrated in the designs she creates as founder of The Varda Group - one of our region's premier design companies. She is proud to raise her family in Bozeman. Michelle is an active member of the swimming community as a swimming parent and promoter of swimming for health and fitness. She can be found at the pool encouraging swimmers and sense of community.
